Visit opportunities for high school students

Spring Break Visit
The School of Nursing will host facility tours Tuesday, April 11 through Thursday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 18 through Friday, April 21. Tours will begin in the lobby of Sadie Heath Cabaniss Hall, located at 1100 E. Leigh Street on the MCV Campus, promptly at 12:15 p.m. and will last 45 minutes. Visitors should allow time to find parking. There are several on-street parking options available (metered and lot), or guests can pay to use the 8th Street Parking Deck or the E and S Patient/Visitor Parking Deck. The School of Nursing does not validate parking; however, guests who have received parking validations from the Welcome Center for the West Broad Street Deck may also use the validation code for the 8th Street Deck.

Information Sessions
The university offers information sessions for prospective freshmen throughout the year. If you plan to attend a School of Nursing on-campus information session to learn more about applying to the Traditional B.S. track, please plan to attend the university's morning information session. There is not sufficient time between the School of Nursing's information session and university's afternoon information session.

Guaranteed admission is available through the VCU Honors College.

Walk-in hours and tours

Walk-in hours with the Admission Advisor (9-11:30 am) and tours with a Student Ambassador (12:15 pm) are available on the following dates:

  • February 13, 2017
  • March 6, 2017
  • March 20, 2017
  • April 10, 2017
  • April 24, 2017
