Research/Scholarship Interests

The focus of Ameringer's research is improving symptom self-management in adolescents and young adults with sickle cell disease and cancer.

Teaching

Ameringer teaches courses on quantitative research and advanced research designs in the Ph.D. program. She serves as a doctoral student advisor, as a dissertation chairperson and directs undergraduate research experiences.
