The R.N. to B.S. builds on nurses’ existing experience to expand their impact, enhancing their ability to lead and provide exceptional care in culturally diverse settings. This program is an option for licensed registered nurses with a diploma or associate degree from a college or university with regional accreditation. Graduates earn a B.S. in nursing.

Complete the following through NursingCAS, the centralized application service for nursing programs:
- Application: $60 fee
- CAS Residency Form: $75 fee (fee waived for current VCU students)

Guaranteed Admission
Guaranteed admission to the RN to B.S. in nursing program is offered to Virginia Community College System graduates who meet the admission requirements. Guaranteed admission is limited by the total number of positions available in each program.
