She is the PI on a HRSA grant focused on improving wellness in health care providers through creating positive organizational change. Her national research team is working to validate the Nurse Practitioner Student Competency Assessment Tool (NPSCA) meeting the national need to have a tool that is mapped to the Essential Competencies, and can be used for simulation and clinical evaluation. She is also part of a team studying the use of an innovative dyad/POD model to deliver clinical education to graduate students.
