The R.N. to B.S. program builds on nurses’ existing experiences to expand their expertise by enhancing their ability to lead and provide exceptional care. This program is an option for licensed registered nurses with an associate degree from a college or university with regional accreditation. Graduates earn a B.S. in nursing.

Complete the following through NursingCAS, the centralized application service for nursing programs:
- Application: $60 fee
- CAS Residency Form: $75 fee (fee waived for current VCU students; form will be emailed to applicants after the submission of the NursingCAS application)

This may impact the student’s ability to successfully complete program requirements. Guaranteed Admission
Guaranteed admission to the RN to B.S. in nursing program is offered to Virginia Community College System graduates who meet the admission requirements. Guaranteed admission is limited by the total number of positions available in each program.
