Bio

After completing her M.B.A., Gilbert began her career gaining experience in public finance and accounting, human resources, hospital services, information technology and much more. She even had a stint overseeing a zoo, cemetery and airport among other adventures! She has held multiple administrative roles at VCU in the School of Medicine, Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success and, currently, as the director of finance for the School of Nursing. As a lifelong resident of Richmond, she enjoys working at VCU and staying connected to the community.
