Area of Current Clinical Practice
Most recently, Corazzi has practiced as a nurse practitioner in the field of wound care. Previous to this she worked in a clinic that provided primarily same-day health care services. In her RN career, Corazzi worked in various specialties including the postoperative care unit, case management, Neuroscience ICU and orthopedics.
Teaching
Corazzi is currently a full-time faculty member within the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing. She previously taught courses in the undergraduate nursing program, including Health Assessment Lab and Community Health Clinical, as an adjunct instructor at VCU. She has an interest in simulation and is passionate about creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable and engaged.
Professional Service
Corazzi was invited to join Sigma Theta Tau during her graduate program and is a current member. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
