Bio
Mary Murigi, Ph.D., M.P.H., is a highly accomplished health care professional with more than 12 years expertise in nursing. She is renowned for her dedication to improving health care delivery and advancing nursing education, underpinned by a strong clinical foundation and a passion for maternal and child health, as well as nursing research.
In academia, Murigi has been instrumental in redesigning nursing curricula, enhancing midwifery, reproductive health, and neonatology programs, and guiding research initiatives. In addition, as a global nurse, Murigi has experiences in medical surgical nursing, community health nursing, nursing leadership and management and most recently mental health. Her scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications and numerous presentations at international conferences. She has also co-authored critical guidelines on clinical placement and mentorship for training institutions in Kenya.
Murigi’s commitment to evidence-based practices, nursing mentorship, and quality education has left a lasting impact on health care systems and nursing education. Her work continues to inspire and elevate the standards of health care delivery and academic excellence.
