Nick Williams, Ed.D., serves as director of alumni engagement for the School of Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he leads inclusive, mission-aligned strategies that strengthen alumni relationships and support the school’s commitment to service, professional excellence and community impact.

Williams began his career at VCU in June 2020 in the Student Financial Management Center as lead financial counselor, supporting students and families through complex financial decision-making. He remains actively engaged with his alma maters, serving on multiple alumni boards, and gives back to his local community through his church, The Life Church.

Originally from Washington, D.C., Williams enjoys cooking and exploring Richmond’s vibrant food scene, finding connection and creativity through food.
